Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Pace Ledger mobile application and this website (together, the “Service”), operated by Pace Ledger (“us”, “we”, or “our”). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms, which apply to all visitors and users.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Pace Ledger is a financial utility application designed to help individuals and businesses track income, expenses, budgets, debts and subscriptions across separate personal and business profiles. The Service is provided for informational and organisational purposes only.
3. No Financial, Tax or Legal Advice
Pace Ledger is not a financial planner, investment advisor, broker, accountant or tax consultant. The Service is intended only to assist you in organising your finances and is general in scope. Your personal financial situation is unique, and information obtained through the Service may not be appropriate for it. Before making any financial decision or implementing any strategy, you should seek advice from a qualified professional who is fully aware of your individual circumstances.
4. Accounts & Security
When you create an account, you must provide information that is accurate, complete and current. Failure to do so is a breach of these Terms and may result in termination of your account.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password, PIN or biometric locks you use to access the Service, and for any activities under your account. You agree not to disclose your password or PIN to any third party, and to notify us immediately at support@paceledger.app upon becoming aware of any security breach or unauthorised use.
5. Subscriptions, Auto-Renewal & Billing
Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis (“Subscriptions”). You are billed in advance on a recurring “Billing Cycle” — typically monthly or annually — depending on the plan you select.
Apple App Store & Google Play purchases
If you purchase a Subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the following apply:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: your Subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current Billing Cycle.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price in effect.
- Cancellation: you can manage and cancel Subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current Billing Cycle.
- We cannot manage, cancel or refund subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google. All refund requests must be directed to the respective app store.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Pace Ledger and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent. The financial data you enter remains yours.
7. Links to Other Websites
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Pace Ledger. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third party you interact with.
8. Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any calculations, insights or exports will be free of inaccuracies.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Pace Ledger, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, use or goodwill — resulting from (i) your access to, use of, or inability to use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; or (iv) unauthorised access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damage.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and uninstall the app. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, while provisions that by their nature should survive — including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability and Governing Law — will continue to apply.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
